Each morning at our regular beach spot, I begin my day along this familiar bush track. The towering gums, cool shadows and changing light have become deeply familiar. Rather than describing every tree and leaf, this study explores the rhythm of the Australian bush through simplified shapes, expressive brushwork and harmonious colour. It is a reflection of the quiet beauty found in returning to the same place, day after day, and discovering it afresh in the changing light.
